Signing In

ClearGRC uses Microsoft Azure AD Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) to authenticate users. When you navigate to the application URL, ClearGRC redirects you to a hosted sign-in page managed by your organization’s identity provider.

Steps to Sign In #

  1. Navigate to your organization’s ClearGRC URL in a supported web browser.
  2. You are automatically redirected to the sign-in page.
  3. If your browser has previously signed in to ClearGRC, a Pick an account screen may appear listing cached accounts. Select Use another account if you need to sign in with a different account.
  4. Enter your email address and select Next.
  5. Enter your password and select Sign in.
  6. On successful authentication, ClearGRC redirects you to the GRC Executive Dashboard.

Forgot Your Password? #

The sign-in screen includes a Forgot password? link that starts a self-service password reset flow. Password complexity rules, lockout policy, and reset procedures are governed by your organization’s Azure AD CIAM tenant configuration – not by ClearGRC itself.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) #

Whether MFA is enforced, and which methods are supported (authenticator app, SMS, email code), depends on your organization’s Azure AD CIAM configuration. Contact your identity administrator to confirm your organization’s MFA policy.

System Requirements #

ClearGRC is a web-based application – no client software installation is required. Use a modern browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox for the best experience.
