The top navigation bar is present on every screen and provides access to the application’s four functional areas – Governance, Risk, and Compliance – plus Admin, alongside Home, Notifications, and the user profile menu.

Governance Menu #
The Governance menu provides access to:
- Company Setup – Configure your organization’s profile and structure.
- Policy Center – Manage policies through their full lifecycle.
- Process – Document and manage business processes.
- Exception – Track and manage policy exceptions.
- Document Inventory – Manage governance documents.
- Third Party Inventory – Manage third-party vendor records.

Risk Menu #
The Risk menu provides access to:
- Asset – Manage organizational assets.
- Threat – Define and manage threats.
- Vulnerability – Track identified vulnerabilities.
- Control – Manage controls and test their effectiveness.
- Risk Register – View and manage the full risk register.

Compliance Menu #
The Compliance menu provides access to:
- Assessments – Opens a submenu containing:
- Self Assessment
- Third Party Assessment
- Readiness Assessment
- Gap Assessment
- Cross Reference – Map controls across multiple frameworks.
- Audit Inventory – Manage audit records.

Admin Menu #
The Admin menu is visible to users with the Admin role and provides access to:
- License Management
- Users
- Roles
- Permission Inventory
- System – submenu containing Integrations and Config.
- Operations – submenu containing Upload Request, User Activity Log, and Log Files.

Notifications #
The bell icon at the top right of the navigation bar opens the Notifications panel, which lists in-app notifications and provides a Mark all as read control. A Connected status indicator at the bottom of the panel confirms that your browser session has an active real-time connection to the notification service.

Profile Menu #
Selecting your name at the top right of the navigation bar opens the profile menu, which provides access to:
- My Profile – View and edit your own user record.
- Switch Companies – Change the active company context without signing out. Useful for users with access to more than one tenant (for example, MSSP analysts).
- About – Displays the ClearGRC application version, build information, and the subscription details of the current company.
- Clear Cache – Clears locally cached application data in the browser session.
- Logout – Ends the current session and returns to the sign-in screen.
