After signing in, ClearGRC displays the GRC Executive Dashboard – the application’s home screen. It provides a consolidated, real-time view of your organization’s governance, risk, and compliance posture across all active modules.
You can return to the dashboard at any time by selecting Home in the top navigation bar, or by clicking the ClearGRC logo. A Last updated timestamp, a Refresh control, and an Export control appear at the top right of the page.
Executive Summary #
The Executive Summary row presents six summary tiles at a glance:

| GRC Maturity Score | A percentage score summarizing overall program maturity, with a trend indicator versus the prior month. |
| Risk Exposure | The organization’s current overall risk level (Low, Medium, or High), with a trend indicator versus the prior month. |
| Compliance Status | A percentage score summarizing compliance posture across tracked frameworks, with a trend indicator versus the prior month. |
| Setup Progress | The percentage completion of initial ClearGRC configuration, with a Details link to the underlying setup checklist. |
| Critical Alerts | A count of items flagged as requiring immediate attention. |
| Upcoming Deadlines | A count of items due within the next 30 days. |

Risk & Compliance Insights #
Below the Executive Summary, this section presents four widgets:
- Active Risks (Last 6 Months) – A trend line chart showing risk activity over the past six months, with a View All link to the Risk Register.
- Top 5 Highest Risks – A table showing Risk, Impact, Probability, and Status for your top five risks, with a Manage link.
- Risk Distribution by Category – A donut chart breaking down risks by category, with a Details link.
- Risk Mitigation Progress – A panel showing mitigation percentage, new risks this month, and closed risks this month, with a View Plan link.

Compliance Management #
This section presents four compliance-focused widgets:
- Compliance Gaps – A table of gaps by severity and due date, with a Remediate link.
- Exception Trends – A line chart of exceptions over time, with a View Exceptions link.
- Policies Due for Review – A table listing policies with their last and next review dates, with a Review All link.
- Upcoming Assessments – A list of scheduled assessments, with a View All link.
Action Center #
The Action Center is the dashboard’s prioritized to-do list. It presents four color-coded cards, each showing a count badge and the underlying items with assigned owner, due date, and a direct action link:
- Urgent Actions – Items requiring immediate attention.
- Overdue Items – Items that have passed their due date.
- Upcoming Deadlines – Items due soon.
- Recommendations – Suggested actions to improve your GRC posture.

Tip: Dashboard tiles that link to underlying records – such as Manage, Details, View All, Remediate, and Fix – provide the fastest way to navigate from a summary metric directly to the records driving it, without using the top navigation menu.
