Process

App navigation: Governance → Process

The Process module lets you document and manage the business processes that support your governance and compliance program. Processes can be linked to policies, tasks, security objectives, and reviewed on a schedule.

Screen Layout #

Navigate to Governance → Process to open the Process Inventory screen – a summary panel and inventory grid following the same layout as Policy Center. The toolbar provides Refresh, Filter, + Create, and a More menu (Export, Retired Process, Bulk Review, Bulk Approve).

Creating a Process #

  1. Select + on the toolbar. Choose Create Manually or Upload from File.
  2. The Process Detail wizard opens with the following steps:
Step What to complete
1 – Definition Process title, description, owner, custodian, and effective date.
2 – Procedure The detailed procedure steps for carrying out the process.
3 – Policy Link to one or more policies this process supports.
4 – Security Objective Select the security objectives this process addresses.
5 – Task Add tasks associated with executing this process.
6 – Review Log Audit trail of all review and approval decisions (view only).
7 – Execute Summary Final summary before submitting for review.

Process Lifecycle #

Processes follow the same Draft → Under Review → Awaiting Approval → Active → Retired lifecycle as policies. Assign Reviewers and Approvers in Step 1 (Definition).
