App navigation: Compliance → Cross Reference
Cross Reference lets you compare framework coverage between two authority documents to identify overlaps and gaps – useful when adopting a second compliance standard without redoing work already captured for the first.
How It Works #
- Framework A – the baseline assessment (the framework you already have assessments for).
- Framework B – the target framework you want to compare against Framework A.
The tool maps requirements from Framework A to equivalent requirements in Framework B, showing which requirements in your baseline are already covered by the cross-reference mapping and which represent gaps that need additional work.
Using Cross Reference #
- Navigate to Compliance → Cross Reference.
- Select Framework A – defaults to the latest completed assessment. Use the Change link to select a specific assessment.
- Select Framework B – the framework to compare against.
- The mapping grid loads with columns: Source Reference, Source Domain, Source Title, Target Reference, Target Domain, Target Title.
- Use Reset to clear the comparison and start again.

Note: Cross Reference requires at least two completed assessments against different authority documents to be useful. Both Framework A and B are populated from completed assessment records.
